If it’s true that a picture paints a thousand words, children’s portraits speak volumes. As the children graduate each stage of life, culminating in full adulthood, snapshots of early memories frozen in time become even more priceless.

Each year, across the nation, thousands of cute young smiles and bright eyes are captured by Antiquities photography studios. Coordinating schedules from their Cleveland, Tennessee offices, photographers are sent in all directions partnering with many groups, including churches, schools, hospitals and Mothers Of Pre-Schoolers (MOPS).

Offering families a chance at a creative and unique old-fashioned portrait complete with props and clothing, the Antiquities trend continues to gain momentum and has grown significantly in recent years, due in part to the convenience it offers parents.

"Parents don’t have to worry about dressing their kids up for a portrait," states Debra Disbrow, Executive Vice-President. "They come to the sitting and are offered a variety of scenes for their child." Looking through samples of portraits taken, it’s not unusual to see dressed-up kids in an old-fashioned "lil’ miss" tea party, as a "Huckleberry Finn" type fisherman, or even old fashioned businessmen, ala "Lil’ Rascals."

Another benefit of the Antiquities program is the fundraising opportunity it offers the sponsoring organization. Through the partnership, an organization can raise $10,000 or more without investing any of their own funds.
